I wouldn't get the SA you can do a lot better for the pric IMO.

If yall had to choose between this s&w or the rem r1 enhanced, which woul it be. I'm torn. Both stainless.

S&W, by no means am I King Ranch on 1911's but I don't like the fit and finish on the Remington's. I think they are border line ugly.

They are pretty identical to me aside from a few obvious features. Price is close as well.

The finish on the Remington is not that great. I wasn't a fan.

2 other good buys that are cheaper, than the s&w and r1 enhanced are the roogah and the magnum research.
