Let's celebrate the final countdown to opening weekend. Sharing favorite moments in the old box has been done, and the new box hasn't really been around long enough to warrant such a thread. Here, we share our favorite "random" moments in LSU Baseball history.
Mine has a video. Jacoby Jones, in his freshman season, makes a strong case to walk on the football team as a linebacker.

Wayyyy too many moments to even count, much less post... But I'll add one that sticks out. Probably an underrated moment, but it came in 2008 on Sunday at Kentucky. We're just getting rolling in our "streak" and we had already won the series, but we wanted the sweep. Derek Helinihi draws a full count walk, and up steps big swole Matt Clark. One hanging curve later, the ball still hasn't landed.

What was the game where Thomas Jefferson was jumping on the dugout after the home run? I was looking for that video, that was a great game last year. Was it Mississippi State?

The Thomas Jefferson game was the Saturday Georgia game.. The Dandy Don Rally.

You sure that was THE Dandy Don rally? The MSU rally was a home game last year, whereas, I believe (I could be wrong) THE Dandy Don rally came on an away game, because I wasn't there and stuck at home posting. Again, could be wrong.

ETA: I was home in Lake Charles for some reason I can't remember right now, but I was there for the Friday and Sunday games. Pissed i missed the Dandy Don Rally

Ill also add this BACK BREAKING grand slam from the timeless Blake Dean in the SEC Tourney. This was probably my favorite SEC Tourney year. Ridiculous stuff. I hate Bama in all sports. LINK

Im inclined to believe the Dandy Don rally was the Friday night game of the MSU series. I could be wrong though, I get confused with baseball games.
