Darren Wilcox, who played for St Johnstone and Kilmarnock, died on Friday having been diagnosed with the disease around 18 months ago.
The left back was the youngest ever player to turn out for the Perth side's first team when he played in a Forfarshire Cup tie against Brechin City aged 15 years and nine months.
