He's trying to get a move to new Orleans this off-season.

Would be pretty cool if it all works out.

I thought the Saints wanted to move to a 3-4. come to Atlanta or find a team that still runs the Tampa 2 (do they make those anymore).

He's played nothing but 3-4 since he has been in NFL. Chiefs play a 3-4. He plays end in that scheme.

Right. And he is not a good fit there.

Is he a free agent? If not, what are you saying - hes trying to work a trade?

Im all for it bro.

And he's been a bad fit in their scheme. He's a 4-3 DT.

Basically that he's cool because he knows Glenn Dorsey.

Har Har Har. I had my stripes way before a website. I was just sharing info as usual.

His contract is up in the air. It's going to have a lot to do with his agent.

I was thinking that also. But it depends on how you use ur linemen if the saints use a 2 gap system then he will struggle. But if we use a gap penertrating system he could be of use.

He is a free agent. It wouldn't cost the Saints too much to bring him in. But like other people are saying on here... It is a scheme thing. He played mainly on running downs in KC, but he is a guy who stays healthy and if there is a spot in the right scheme for him then he can prob be pretty productive.

I would take him over any of our miserable d-linemen, regardless of fit or scheme.

He is not a DT in a 3-4 which is why he didn't do well in KC. If we had a 4-3 I would take him. Of course I could be wrong.

Thanks for the info, that would be nice to see him in a Saints uni, I'm sure they would find a place for him on the D-line

Would love to see him as a Saint, but we have more important needs like CB and Safeties to fill before we move to the D-Line. Truthfully, we need a lot on defense, but something tells me the Saints will draft more offensive power and try to take Defense in the later rounds. Who knows, but at least Payton is back.

He doesnt fit the 3-4 mold but has been very good the 2 years previous to him being hurt this year. Had 69 tackles in 2010-2011 and 62 tackles in 2011-2012.
