Hey guys I am looking into getting into kayaking, but I am completely green when it comes to the subject. First of my budget is about 2k. What are some good setups in that price range (kayak, roof mount, paddles, etc). When fishing, do you just keep the fish on a stringer? Thanks in advance for all of your advice/help

What kind of kayak do you want? Many different kinds. Touring? Fishing?

If you have water access and an easy way to load your kayak (truck/trailer, etc) then get the Hobie Pro Angler for about $2500...it has everything you will need and is considered the Cadillac of kayaks right now.
It does weigh over 100lbs.
