New York can have their Super Bowl. They won't get another any time soon. NOLA will get another within 5 years.

its a game meant to be played in all elements, not different than a NFC championship game in 10 degree weather with snow

the game is only a small part of the event that is the Super Bowl.

people want decent weather while doing everything else that revolves around it.

65 degrees and sunny 3 days in a row in NOLA, couldn't have been better.

its 70 here n Dallas and yet one freak ice storm caused the national media to piss their pants like little babies and had them crying that a SB should never be in a cold weather city again.

There's too many potential logistical issues with a Super Bowl outdoors in February. Can you imagine the chaos if a blizzard comes through and closes down roads, airports, etc?

The coldest outdoor SB was played in New Orleans. The only thing to worry about is the snow. The NFL experience will be in NYC, they've already announced the street closings. From a fans perspective having to be outdoors in potentially freezing conditions is not fun especially if a team that plays in a dome or in the south makes it

the average fans won't be there

it will all be CEOs there. as we know the richer you are, the less you can tolerate cold weather

No, epic cold, like -2 type of cold is what they have to worry about.

The CCG are mostly local fans. People from around the world do not want to pay 2Grand to sit in single digits.
