What? The whole point of the blackout is that it's unexplainable. A huge EMP would have knocked most technology out for some years, but not for that long. I've only seen one episode and already know that. They can't rebuild because it won't work

NBC's handling of both Community and Friday Night Lights has caused me to question them. Both of those are/were quality shows that the network didn't back enough IMO.

I also thought they cancelled Black Donnellys too early, but that's just because I was enjoying the show up until cancellation.

It's not just NBC though, look at Fox's handling of Arrested Development.

Every network handles shows poorly.

Especially shows people on this board like. That's because people on this board actually care enough about quality TV to post on a message board about it.

Most people don't give a shite and would rather watch Duckie and his retarded son make very thinly veiled sex jokes every 4 seconds, or 5 depending on how long they hold down the laugh button.

Any show that tries to be just even a little different is doomed for failure.

Say what you will about NBC, but they did keep 30 Rock, P&R, and Community longer than ratings would indicate that they should. It's just too bad they've basically said they won't be doing that type of thing anymore.

Why don't shows just air the entire season in consecutive weeks? That's what killed Jericho. Lost got it right doing that for the final seasons.

Eh, Survivor?

Revolution both on a 4 month break????

Revolution needed the break for filming. They only filmed the first 10-12 episodes for new shows usually in case they do shite in the ratings they don't have a whole bunch of episodes to sit on.
