If he had done that, he wouldn't have made that post. So.....he is obviously set in his ways...what a pity...

That makes me feel a lot better.

I think these two movies are hated on more than they should be because of the brilliance of what came before.

BttF is my favorite trilogy. I've known about the creepy kid for awhile. Still funny it made it into the movie.

Thought neither was the best of the trilogy but don't classify either as bad endings.

Jedi was always a great ending...until they put Hayden Christensen in for Sebastian Shaw and showed jubilation all around the galaxy like killing the emperor and blowing up the Death Star solved everything in one afternoon.

I do miss the Ewok celebration. Thankfully, the DVD's I own offer both versions of the Original Trilogy.

How was ROTJ bad? Please explain... :inb4Ewoks:

Pretty much anything not doing with the Emperor/Vader wasn't good. Lucas did too much stupid bullshite. Did you think about how retardly stupid Luke's plan was to get Han out of Jabba's palace? How about people with caveman technology overcoming the Empire? Luke and Leia being siblings was a terrible idea. Did you really care about the Battle over Endor since there wasn't anyone you cared about being involved in that battle? The Throne Room scenes were just great, but everything else about the film was below par.

They are both decent endings to their franchises. My only real issues with ROTJ come from the Special Edition.

The redemption of Vader makes all the Ewok crap ok with me.

The silliest part of the Jabba segment is tiny Leia choking out Jabba. Jabba got her back. He infected Carrie Fisher with Jabba Syndrome.

BttF3: Unnecessary to have a Part 3, but was a fun movie.

RotJ: Necessary movie to resolve Empire, but a below average movie.

BttF3 wins the battle, RotJ win the war.

nothing wrong with return of the Jedi. its a really good end to the saga. there was some cheesiness to the ewoks but honestly it was a small part. I love ROTJ. The redemption of Vader at teh end with him finally removing his mask is freaking awesome.

The begginning at Jaba's palace is badass and we get Luke and Yoda on Dagobah again. Great finish

I was 7 when Return of the Jedi came out. I freaking loved the Ewoks, still do. I would bet that most people under the age of 18 when Return of the Jedi came out probably like it for this reason.

Return of the Jedi was the first Star Wars I watched when I was a kid so it holds a special place in my heart.

BTTF3 and ROTJ are the weakest of both trilogies but, as many posters have already mentioned, neither films are bad at all. I thought the conclusions for both were very satisfying.

The only problem with BTTF 3 was that the broad took away from the Marty/Doc bonding.
