If anything, so there will not be any more threads asking how he did.

Per BDuhon on the Saints board:
quote:

I have a buddy that works in the facility (this is my contact I used for some of my 2012 training camp posts) that says he looks fast and quick in cuts, showed good hands on deep balls with his back to the passer. At one point they had him run the length of the field as if he were on special teams and swarm the ball; he did well in the drill by staying in his lane and swarming to the ball. The only negative he could see was the burst off the line and initial physical contact with a reciever, in that at times Chad seemed lost and slow. Both of those things will take time to come back to his natural talents once he sees playing and practice time. Loomis, Payton, and a few defensive players were in house today and stayed for the workout.

I'm pulling for this guy big time. Seems like he does things the right way and has a big heart. The saints could use him

Who isn't pulling for him? Damn, the fact that he is just getting a serious look is amazing.

They should just go ahead and put his picture in the dictionary next to "determination".

I think his first step is make a team via special teams. Then work his way towards a starting or rotational gig.

Doable imo.

This

And he's a playmaker. His measurables were never off the charts even before the injury but dreadlocks of doom was as clutch as they come.

Not according to the recruiting board circa 2006/2007. He was 6-3 230, ran a 4.3 forty, 40 inch vertical, 95 mph fastball. Plus calves that rival Keiland Williams.

The dude won a fight vs a 10,000 pound vehicle that sheared off half of his leg. Total badass, and Norris needs to ask CJ for permission to be compared to him.........

I wouldn't say he won that fight, he just didn't lose everything. And the car was more like 3000 pounds. So let's not get carried away here.

That said, nobody can question his desire and work ethic.

If I had this guy's baseball talent I wouldn't go near the NFL, especially after what happened to his leg!
