Dear Admins:
This board has an active and robust community of members who have past or present military service. Has there ever been consideration of a miltary board to discuss those topics?
I am aware of the danger of "board creep", and a good number of topics that would be appropriate for the Political, Outdoor and O-T lounge might end up getting RA'd to be on the military board and there might have to be some subjective interpretation and tweaking of posting guidelines to get us there.
I'm not saying the military/veteran's needs are not being met on other boards - by no means, but, for Chicken's sake we have a soccer board.
I ask merely for discussion and consideration on the help board.

Well, what triggered the idea today, for me, was the young man asking for advice before he goes to basic training.
Places people were stationed, experiences people had on deployments, honoring service, are all examples of topics.
Is there enough material to sustain an entire board? I don't know. I'm just offering it for discussion.

So, there is no opportunity afforded to present a defense of justified trolling?
What if it was done in anticipatory self-defense?
What if it was to somebody really deserving like PJ? The "deserved trolling" defense would be applicable under those circumstances.
I deny premediated trolling. In the alternative, any premeditated trolling I might have done was justified.
