| Gun laws work! (Posted on 2/1/13 at 5:11 pm)
Chicago, home of our Presidential Community Organizer, is a shining example of how effective the most restrictive gun laws in the country actually are. Gang bangers shot a woman dead today on the interstate access ramp. I'm sure they used a legal, registered weapon... Are you watching, Rahm Emmanuel?

yep, we need to def know the identity of all those who are upstanding enough to follow registration laws with their existing unregistered guns and who will buy future guns only from compliant merchants.

Great Idea...... I'm sure that will stop all the gun violence the minute that becomes law! Wait an minute! We already have those laws... The criminals just ignore them.....

OK, I will play along. How would that curtail crime?

Lets think about it: There is a segment of society that is willing to steal, kill, rape, and destroy lives but not willing to risk being caught with an unregistered gun....

My point. So 15 are dead, we have a weapon...and ladies and gentlemen we now know who it was registered to!!! Ya....solves nothing. You said think about it, they don't they get emotional about it.

A mass shooting like that would result in eitger a shootout with cops or suicide. If you are referring to gang shootings then you are assumming legal ownership of those guns

I know that the great state of Texas and who knows what other database knows about my firearms. But I know for a fact that the last 4 felons that I have arrested with firearms were not registered owners. Fact.

It's not about curtailing crime. It's about making your average law abiding citizen into a criminal by changing the law.

Okay we need to do that(sarcasm), but I just read an interesting to say the least story about an incident in Massacheussets that will make you say, "Huh"? A cop was stabbed by a spear wielding perpatrator in a speeding ticket case. What are we to do with spears as under the blanket of "bearing arms" it fits as bayonets on the end of a rifle are essentially spears?
