It's one of those movies you go into with no expectations then are pleasantly surprised. It's not a great movie, but it has a lot of funny moments, the actors do a good job, and above all it was unique. I like watching movies I don't feel are the same regurgitated Hollywood crap.

when i saw the trailer i rolled my eyes and let out a groan

It's a refreshing zombie movie in a genre that's become stale by lack of humor and nihilism.

saw it on friday.
it was ok. not great, but i liked seeing something different. it was very zombie-twilight-esque, but it had some funny parts.

well the girls did love it, but the writing was on a completely different level than twilight. They added really good comedy with very few words. Is it shaun of the dead? no, but it was easily worth $7

the thing i didn't like about this one is how the the boneys were so much stronger and faster than the regular ones.
They decompose and rot away, but they are super strong and fast for some reason.

Just saw this. Like you said, no expectations but pleasantly surprised. I thought the main kid did a great acting job. He really sold the emotions without the ability to talk.
