If you're looking to get a credit score because you plan on making a purchase where you need credit, those free credit scores are worthless. CreditKarma has a free score and it may or may not be close to your true FICO score. (My TransUnion FICO is about 70 points higher than the score CreditKarma gives me). If you want a true FICO score go to MyFico.com and buy your score.
