How much of a difference do you think he'd make on this year's bball team? He was definitely one of our better players when he was here and I'm sure he'd log some minutes. My thoughts are that we'd be deeper, which would improve our ability to press, but that Hickey, Stringer, Carmouche, and Morgan have done very well this season so I'm not sure how much his departure really stings.

He would've been huge. He knocked down the majority of 3s in transition. All he needed was some fire lit under his arse and he would've been an all-sec player under Trent.

Very little improvement if it all. Those extra minutes are going to stringer and Morgan.. Turner was also below average defender as well with a bad attitude. Glad he's gone.

Decent 3 point shooter but not a guy who can really run well. The length would be much appreciated, but all he could do was shoot the 3 (and only decently). He actually had a lower 2pt % than 3pt last year. Didn't rebound really, didn't have a positive ast/TO ratio, not a guy who was going to rip you really (just his length at times to his advantage).

Decent player but not a difference maker at all.

depends which turner showed up. he had a pretty shitty attitude last year and was a nonfactor for a good portion of the season. It would be nice to have the extra depth though to allow us to press more and sooner.

To add, John Odo would be a huge difference maker IMO this year, he could start both him and JOB III and finally be a true regular team instead of having to play Coleman at the 4 spot all game.

Would help us immensely in rebounding.

frick that. Ralston was lazy. And I liked him as a player.

ETA: Ralston has All-SEC type talent, but was nowhere close to that in reality. That is on him.

Ralston, like Bo Spencer before him, had "mental health" or "personality" issues (depends who you listen to, as to which).

He would not have fit with this group of hustling hard workers at all.

If we are going with hypos. I think LSU would be 5-2 or 6-1 if Hamilton would have stayed. He hurts much more than Turner.

I thought he had some skills, but he seemed to lack the fire and the work ethic. I'm of the opinion that kind of stuff must come from within or production will be fleeting or inconsistent.

I think he'd probably give us this year what he gave us while he was here. Spotty and inconsistent play with flashes of what he could be if he had the self-motivation to make himself better.
