I have three Shimano reels that need cleaned pretty bad. I tried to do one and fricked it up so I didn't attempt the others
Do any Lake Charles area people know somewhere I can bring them to get them cleaned/repaired? Does LCT do it?

LCT has a guy that they send the reels too. He lives in LC.

I worked at Southwest Gun and Knife with a dude named Jason that was a whiz at cleaning reels.
Of course, this was in 2001, so it probably doesn't help.

The tackle box in sulphur is top notch. That's where I bring my curados.

Its pretty easy to clean them yourself. I have also sent reels back to Shimano and they will clean and replace bad parts. Reels come back like new. I think it was $10-$15 a reel. That was years ago though.
