I hold a few shares of Cameron International and as I was checking the day's movement, noticed it was up almost 4%. No news had come out today as a catalyst for this spike, I did notice that volume was 3X the average. Do spikes like this generally indicate that someone has knowledge of something coming down the pike? Hard to imagine anyone would make an attempt to purchase them.

Frick the news feed on Scottrade...........

I checked it before posting and this was the last 3 articles(Next two were from earlier in the week):
Down 1.7% to $60.77, Cameron International (NYSE:CAM), is one of today's notable movers. The S&P is trading lower by 0.2% to 1,505 and the Dow is trading fractionally lower to 13,937. Potential upside of 13.8% exists for Cameron International, based on a current level of $60.77 and analysts' average consensus price target of $69.15. The stock should discover initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $56.16 and subsequent support at its 200-day MA of $51.59
