I have Mardi Gras free and my son wants to fish. I've never been to either place this time of year (Only had my boat 6 months)

Venice is the Fish Capitol of the World.

Venice is always the answer if given the opportunity.

Are you bringing your own boat? Or are you looking for a charter?

Grand Isle does have a pretty awesome mardi gras parade though. Got to ride in it by accident on our way in from fishing. The locals are out in droves

I would be very careful dealing with the fog. Going with your son and if you've only fished it once,I'd take every precaution necessary.
