Definitely a different direction than the previous ones, but going into sword mode and being able to slice off the top of somebody's forehead is pretty damn fun.

Just downloaded it and played a bit of it, it's okay.
Not great or anything, the part where you fight a "boss" I guess it is fricking sucked, couldn't beat it and gave up. Stupid frickin' robot.

I hate MGS games but I played this and loved it since they got rid of the stealth BS. Having to hide from enemies that cannot reason on a higher plane, like us/me, does not excite me. I would wish this game was first person view with a gun though.

They showed what seems to be the new "real" MGS(not hack n slash) at E3. I can't remember the name of the game.

i think everyone should temper expectations.
this is not a stealth/espionage game. it's a hack and slash with a metal gear characters and story. i haven't played the demo yet, but will judge accordingly.
