Show limped to the finish line. Can't imagine a movie(with dad E, married Vince, successful Turtle) would be watchable.

Loved that show. Wasn't the best on TV but for 22 minutes a week without overthinking it was gold

Seconded. The acting in that show was too bad to pull off a movie. Plus, that isn't a case where they need big special effects, or an R rating, or huge guest stars to justify a movie version. shite, the Sex in the City movie was a dumb idea, this is even worse....

I think enough time has gone by from the finale where it will be fun. They have had time to come up with a decent script. I always thought the series could have ended two seasons earlier

Love that show up until the Medellin debacle (season 4, I think). It was a slow decline after that...still watchable though. I'll watch the movie when it airs on HBO

I'm too disinterested to even post the yawn pic.

Never underestimate the power of Hollywood to put out a piss poor product as long as the marketing fools enough folks to where the movie is profitable.

there are so many pretentious assholes on this board. if you enjoyed the show why would you not go and see the movie?

Will the woman writer that killed the show be involved?

Because I didn't enjoy the last three seasons and they've put the characters in a position where they can't make an entertaining movie from them. I'd probably watch it on TV definitely wouldn't pay to see.

How is not wanting to go watch the movie at the theater being pretentious?

I thought the show lost something, and I really started to fade for me when Vince took a more prominent role and they went down that road of him with Sasha Grey and the drugs. I just thought the entire thing became lame and contrived.

I still watch the show, but I'm just not chomping at the bit to join the masses in buying into this show materializing into a good movie. This show just isn't made for a movie.

Like I said, the woman writer killed the show. Turtle scared of a shaved puss? Eric scared of anal sex with Sloan? Vince cutting his hair because he's upset?
