You are so right! When I'm listening to him from a play list, a song might come up that I'm not in the mood for, but that doesn't mean it's a bad song.

I honestly can't recall a song from him that I couldn't stand to hear.

Merle has a way of setting the mood. He can make you want to go out and drink, fight, love and say the pledge of allegiance in a matter ten minutes.

From many years ago, I can recall sitting around camp fires with hunting buddies, pulling from a bottle of Blue Nun and quarter inch rope, listening to the Hag. That's when I discovered music travels best through cool dark air.

Well the years have past and the quarter inch rope and Blue Nun are no longer in my life but that "Natural High" two kids and wife and four grandkids are. Ain't Life GRAND!

You just can't go wrong with Merle.

It's about a "working girl" that plied her trade on trains.
