Not a bad list. But I would put Hilliard in place of Faulk.

Todd McClure should be on this list without a question. Started as a true freshman and was a Tiger All-American. True NFL Iron man. Has record for most consecutive starts in Falcons history. Baton Rouge Native...

Glad to seen Wendell Davis still get respect. Incredible WR, and best hands of any LSU receiver I can remember.

If you're playing 1 season with this all time team, you definitely want him on your squad.

i like tyrann as much as anyone but you going to put him ahead of who?

cassanova? no way in hell
dirty 30...nah
webster...cant do that one either
pp7 was maybe the best cover guy we had at LSU, but this would be the only spot to have him as a db
if we would have a nickel package then honey badger would be in

also consideration for return man as well

I will add if he played this year and had another stellar season then he makes the list and webster or peterson gets dropped

Yep, with Faulk as a VERY close third on talent alone, not to mention his HUGE "bring back the magic" contribution. IMO Alexander and Hilliard just had a certain star quality that is not often seen anywhere.

Everyone probably needs to consider different eras, because some incredible Hall of Famers, All-Americans, etc. have been left out so far, like:
Doc Fenton
Ken Kavanaugh
Steve Van Buren
Mike Williams
Ronnie Estay
Tyler Lafauci
John Garlington

I put him as my punt returner and he would definitely be my Nickel Back. Just don't think he would be able to beat out any of the other corners that I or others named as a starting corner.

Any list without Cannon, Casanova, and Dorsey is a joke. A Heisman trophy winner, the only three time all-american, and the most decorated player in LSU history are gimmes. And I don't care what 'era' you grew up with and that the players aren't as 'fast' or 'polished' back then. Cannon and Casanova could play in any 'era'.

I feel better now.
