Portlands starting 5 is very very good, led by LA down low and the rookie of the year at PG.

Batum is a stud with a solid all around game, Hickson is good for what he is asked to do as a 5th option when they are all on the floor, and Mathews can shoot it.

If they had a couple of bench players they're a 5-6 seed team.

It's pretty damning when you google image "Portland Trail Blazers Medical staff and the results just show a bunch of injured players anguishing in some form or fashion.
