re: How come the comic hero "The Flash" hasn't gotten a movie yet?

You're right but on character level, I just always found Wally to be much more interesting. Barry has always been fairly vanilla.

In the right hands he could be a great character, but IMO there is nothing appealing about a "superhero" who can talk to fish or one who can run really fast.

And yet, the Flash is one of the most enduring superheroes of all time.

It might seem to some like he's limited in what he can do and to others like he's overpowered at the one thing he does, but original stories continue to be generated for the Flash, decade after decade.

He's a legit lead superhero in America's conciousness. Everyone knows who the Flash is. Movie? YES.
