Price thighs, cheaper and superior flavor from them.

Boneless breasts: usually around $3-$4 a pound. Sometimes you can find them on sale for about $2/lb. Two breasts will probably be less than a pound, but if you can't find a really small package, you can freeze the uncooked ones easily.

Recipe looks good, let us know how it turns out!

If you have someone capable of shopping at a military base commissary, you can get chicken super cheap.

I got boneless, skinless thighs for $1 a pound last week.

Breasts normally run about $2.09 a pound.

This, they sell boneless skinless thighs and you just need to trim a bit of fat off before you roll with those directions.

You can find breasts for under $2 per pound at Albertson's, just have to do a little trimming yourself.

Kroger around here has the Valu Brand shite for $1.79 a pound usually

Have to trim a lot and I like to pound mine out, but they are pretty good for the price

Do you think thighs would be better since trying for first time to make?

Thighs are great for a variety of dishes, I use them for gumbo, jambalaya, chicken chili etc.

As far as the breasts go I have started getting them at whole foods and freezing myself, so sick of the quality and taste of the meat from wal marks and albertons.

Its worth a little more money for the freshness of whole foods imho.

Yes. I don't see a problem.

I made a pasta dish with leeks and bacon recently and had thighs instead of breasts and it was perfectly fine
