Loyalty, huh? I bet some of you on here would jump on Saban's crotch if he ever talked of coming back to LSU...a guy who flirted with the NFL every frickin offseason

This. Amazing that some on here criticize Miles for breathing. Guy must be the stupidest excuse for a coach LSU has ever had according to some.

Shocking that he is one of the longest tenured coaches in major CFB today.

If you truly believe that's what those who have voiced displeasure or concern about Miles on this forum believe then you are way off base.

Are we actually comparing the USC TX game to the LSU Bama game??!! And USC would have won if they would have kept pounding the ball to Lindell White. That game was competitive. Hell we never crossed the 50, so your example of PC getting embarrassed is off by a long shot and I do not even like the guy.

Actually he isn't off base......that's basically a paraphrase of the exact quotes you read on this site from some fans.

Please stop with the "we never crossed the 50" crap. We did. Saying false statements doesn't strengthen your argument, it just makes you more pissed and pisses those that read it off as well. If you are going to troll our football team, at least be accurate with it. And for the record, the first game in BDS, Bama only got inside our 30 twice all game, so it happens. In the NCG,they had a bad arse defense, we had a QB who played the worst game of his career. It's over.

It was one of the best games I've ever seen.

But it was full of embarrassing coaching from Carroll. He had "the greatest team of all time," couldn't game plan for one guy, Reggie Bush is lateraling forty yards downfield (obviously no discipline on the team ), and plus, they lost at home. Game never should've been close. Embarrassing loss. Sometimes even great coaches have shitty games. Carroll had one of his in an NC too.

If you lose in the NC with a great performance, or you completely shite the bed, does it really matter? Sure, you can kinda console yourself, on the "well, at least we played a good game," but the result's ultimately the same. You still lost...their shirts and ours still got sent to the same village in a third world country.

Wasting your time. Some people don't have the mental capacity to understand. It's either one extreme or another.

Not saying it was competitive, just amused seeing another "we never crossed the 50" parrot.

Love Miles, but he's full of shite. Seems like his family was against moving to Arky. Glad DP asked him those questions - was funny watching him sweat a bit......while not answering the question

Probably because not agreeing with you = being a dick.

It's pretty unfortunate when objectivity is viewed as = being a dick.

Sometimes you're objective, sometimes you're not. I like you in this thread though.

Bama was the best team available, period. Not sure why some people are still hung up on it.

Because they sat on their arse after we beat them at home, while we beat UGA in the SEC champ game

I have no clue why some can't come to the conclusion they finished 2nd in our division, yet some how deserved the MNC game? wut?

LSU went 13-0 and won the SEC..

That means LSU is the only team from the SEC to represent in the MNC game...why? because there is no play off system, so that means the regular season is the playoff and it was settled already

Bama wanted a rematch a lot more than we did and it showed that night, period end of story

I wouldn't say I'm hung up on it, but I am. Bama was deserving of being #2, but they got rewarded for losing the "Game of the Century" in a regular season where every game is supposed to count.

We were only 2 yards away from being chicken bowl champs against an ACC juggernaut. Some of you expect too much.

My problem was that bama had their shot and blew it. Osu should have had a shot.

Them getting a rematch has basically ruined college football for me. You can't tell me the season matters and then give them a rematch.

I've said for a while that all I really care about is winning the SEC, because it's the only championship that we can control.

It did matter. LSU won the SEC.

The way I see it, after the season...the best two teams (ranked one and two) should be matched up in the NCG, which is what happened.

It obviously didn't matter as far as crowning a national champ.

Well maybe osu could have beat LSU. So maybe we should have been ranked 3rd at the end of the regular season.

All we knew at the end of the season was that LSU beat bama. But yeah, they deserve a do over.

Well, I think most will agree that last year was a bit freaky in that you had two obviously superior teams in LSU and Bama, and no one else was close. If Bama and LSU were 1a and 1b, then Ok. State would be D. There were no B and C.

I completely agree with you honestly. But that doesn't stop the whole situation souring college football to me.

And you know, any time I talk to a bama fans, I tell them that we won the championship that year, if they are going to claim that championship that was awarded to them before they lost their bowl game, then I'm claiming this one.
