And

at people still doubting this guy. So a guy that won 6 usga titles in a row and 14 majors and 74 wins by the age of 37 will all of a sudden be an ordinary pro? I've said all along that he will be back to 2006-2009 dominance if he doesn't have a serious injury.

He has always come back from a swing change and dominated. Why would he not do it now?

I have been over it a ton since I predicted, here, in the summer of 2009 that he was done winning majors. If I have time today, I will try to go back and find some of those posts.

I know it's crazy to say that the #2 player in the world who is lapping the field at Torrey Pines this week will win a major, right?

And we all know about your prediction. To your credit, you did say it before the scandal, but that scandal and his injuries have bailed you out thus far. Tiger may or may fnot win another major (I say he will) but for you to predict that when you did was either the result of you throwing shite against the wall and hoping it sticks or having time travelled and bringing back a sports almanac.

He held a 4 shot lead or better the entire tourney vs the only guy who has won on the PGA tour that's close to him. A lot different than a major where almost everyone has won. He shot -3 on an easy day and gained strokes on the leaders because of that.

I might go back and try and find mine...I've been saying the same thing, except that he may one one only AFTER he were to get remarried or reconcile with E.

I've been right so far. It's funny how people come in here an suck his dick before an during a tournament, but as soon as he doesn't win you never here from them until his next tournament

Last year he was really bad with his wedge game and putting. If he can do these well I agree that he should win one at least.

Maybe two. I know it's early, but the three things that make him great appear to be back: power, mid-irons, and short game.

It would be some dramatic theater if Tiger and Rory lock up on a Sunday final paring in a major
Tiger won at Torrey Pines. Imagine that. Although he was playing really well--he looks good so far.

I doubt he plays this well all year, but he keeps driving the ball with consistency and hitting his wedges like he has been, I don't think it's a reach to think he can win a major.

He's also putted really well this week

People act like all he has to do is show up. Phil has played this golf course more than Tiger. Winning a Tour event is one of the hardest things to do, no matter where you do it or who you are

He dominates that course. I am just saying I'm not surprised.

he drove it better last year than he did when he was with hank. difference is short game ad wedge shots. looks like those parts of his game are coming around. why would one not assume he will be as good as he was under hank? scandal? assuming no serious injury of course.

One of the parts of the game I have studied at length is the mental game, because of its importance.

When Tiger wrecked his car, and in turn his private life, it messed up a certain "harmony" in his life (a word I have used countless times before to describe this). Therein was created an imbalance within his life that has caused him much trouble. Since that day, I told myself and everyone who I get into this conversation with that he won't win another major, or return to his former dominance, until he stabilizes that imbalance and recreates the harmony in his life that made him so successful.

I never said he wouldn't win again, because that's just asinine, but I believe he is done in majors until the aforementioned is attained. He may win this tournament, but that imbalance created a weakness that other Tour players have recognized, which is why very few feel mortal against his immortality. That's why I believe he doesn't have this tournament in the bag. If he fires a 71, and one of the players at 11 fires at 65-66, it's game-set-match.

He started actually caring what people thought, because his reputation was ruined. Along with that, he completely overhauled his swing(which he should have, and probably would have, anyway. The Haney move was awful).

I think the wins last year, the time since the scandal, and everything in the swing becoming second nature, leads to a major win this year

Just my opinion, all of what I have said is just my opinion.

I don't know him or any of his personal issues, so I can't say anything definitively.

I will say though that my opinion has been proven right I've the last 5 years, so there is that.

I'll also say that he is slowly but surely regaining some subtleties that are promising signs of returning to balance. It's just not all there yet, so that's why I think he's still out of balance. He's a different man, with different demeanors and a different attitude.
