From media day, I searched but didn't see it posted. I also watched a couple videos of him hitting and all I can say is I can't wait to see it in action in a couple weeks.

Old, but good showcase of his hitting power.

Katz and Rhymes had a lot of hits last year on lot's of off speed pitches. Maybe it's as simple as that with Bregman, though, we'll see.

only seen him bat twice but on the double i saw the ball really jumped off his bat. i sorta thought it might get it out but hit about halfway up the wall.

BBCOR bats too. That's pretty impressive.

I want Raph out of the OF. I want one of those dynamic track team OF's that we've had in the past.

Sorry this is off-topic

I hope Bregman can deliver that consistent power that we've been lacking

i'd say 50/50 on that. if i put an over/under on it i would probably go right around 10. but again i've only seen him bat twice, so i hate making predictions without at least a little bit larger sample size.

yeah, safe to say he isn't going to see too many bp type pitches in games. I guess one advantage he has is , he's new. maybe he will "surprise" a few teams?

yea true, just watching some of the videos on him, seems like he def could do it. Wouldn't surprise me.

If we would have been able to luck our way into keeping Gallo,

He is going to see plenty of pitches with Rhymes behind him.

his double was off of hunter newman, another freshmen. i dont know much about newman but i think if i recall he worked a scoreless 8th and 9th. but then PM kept them out in the 9th and bregman doubled and rhymes singled him in. katz got out for the 4th out.

Also i think newman got rhymes and katz out in the 8th or maybe it was the 7th. i really dont remember exactly.

I could see the kid hitting six or seven before SEC play, then a few more as the season goes on.

Good compact swing for a HS player. Looks a little like Schimpf from the other side with that release and controlled finish.
