We hit the usual suspects yesterday right after lunch. Water looked great, GOM was glass, but the tide wasn't working with us and we couldn't get the bite.

Usual suspects but the bite was over early.

I posted asking the same thing yesterday...we actually ended up picking up 8 to 10 trout and a drum. Bite is still on though. Chartreuse split-tails dipped in some spike it under a popping cork...later is better, like 3-5pm...drift along the crab trap line.

Caught a few reds today along grand bayou caillou but the wind was blowing 15 mph by the time we got out there. Water was terrible.

Yeah yesterday was probably the best day to get out on the water...wind wasn't bad and the water was relatively clear. Got burnt to a crisp though
