He has a very good future ahead of him at LSU. We finally found a coach, all we need is "another Shaq" type players.

I just wanted to see this team be competitive and look like they run something resembling an offense, so far so good.
I think Johnny will have us where we need to be shortly if he can continue to recruit the way he has.

it looks like he's going to be good enough to get LSU about where it should be. i wouldn't expect amazing teams but i don't think we'll have those 2-3 years of shite either. that's all we can hope for

Trent would have lost by 25 in Rupp. A Johnny Jones coached team had heart.

yea this season's team has had some wtf moments in conference play but have for the most part been fun to watch.

This.
LSU is not going to be a powerhouse basketball school. If he can get them where they get to the NCAA every other year and are a legit dark horse once every 4-6 years, he's done his job.

I hate seeing this team lose but frock these guys don't quit. The talent is lacking but patience is key. It pains my bones to have to wait 2 or 3 more years but it takes time to build what Trent Johnson did not do .
Great effort by the players. These players should not look at the loss column. This program will be back soon .

He'll get the players here. Before today I was a bit discouraged by our play, but I was damn proud today.
Now let's get that kind of effort against the teams we're supposed to beat.
And by that I don't just mean physical exertion effort, I mean playing smarter and more efficiently.
