How often do you keep pond fish?

The pond i will be fishing is about 12-13 years old. My main concearn today is sac a lait. Fish are never kept out of this pond that i know of. How many should i keep and how often?

I usually don't. Unless the owner says to.

But sacalait probably need to come out of there. If you want some decent bass. Probably need to take a lot of fish out if you want decent bass. How big is said pond?

Yea, that's big but not huge. Probably ought to keep a good bit to get some room for fish to grow.

If that's what you're after, at least.

Keep every sacalait , every perch, and bass rule is 10-20 pounds per acre per year depending on fertilization.

We have a 4 acre pond and tell anyone who fishes it to take out all sac-a-lait and brim that they can catch

Sacalait are very bad about overpopulating a pond. I'd keep every one I felt like cleaning. You'll never get rid of them without nuking the pond.

was coming to post just this. I pull ~10 1 lb bass out of my grandmother's pond a year to regulate it.

I'm here but don't have but a few bream in my pond if they're still in there after them rains.
