Thinking about going to a gun show this morning. Is it normal to charge $55 just to get in the door? Am I just reading this wrong?

Thats pretty crazy. I guess they are trying to keep out all the spectators and only let serious buyers in. I'm not paying that shite.

The $55 is for per table for the vendors.

I think that is the price to rent a table at the show. door admission to bham one a couple of weeks ago was like 6 bucks.

hogdaddy beat me to the punch on it.

I would think a table would cost more than that, huh? No idea, just curious

be warned, the bham one sucked in my opinion, unless you are looking for some once or twice fired brass to reload, everything else was priced through the roof and the crowed was too long for its worth.

Guess I will skip out. Just looking to kill a few hours this morning but I am not standing in line. Thanks.

if they had good deals, I would not have cared about the lines, but everything was either retail price or much higher than normal so there was really no benefit for me, I bought some brass that hoover tactical had picked up at their range but other than that I dont think I stayed even a hour.

Yesterday, I got in line at 11:30 for a 12 start. Got in pretty quick w/$6 entry fee. Within moments on a FRIDAY, it was full, elbow to elbow with small men and big wimmenz. I tiptoed sideways for 2 hours, cost me $3 per hour and I broke a sweat cause it was so hot in there. AR's were from 2k-3k, depending on brand. It was a typical gun show except fo AR stuff and LACK of ammo.

Last one was $8 to enter

They would have to pay me $55 to enter that disaster
