I picked it up and it is living up to the hype for me. First game in a while, especially Jrpg, that has some old school charm to it and has sucked me in.

With Final Fantasy falling off the bandwagon, and other new acclaimed jrpgs just not doing it for me (Xenoblade.....) maybe Level 5 will be the flag bearer for this genre for a while.

I want to pick it up, just don't know if I have the cash right now. Gonna see after today though.

I played the demo a while back and fell in love with it.

i was just going to post this and ask if anyone could vouch for it. seems a bit like the "tales of" series, but with better reviews. in fact, it looks almost like a miyazaki film.

Being that Studio Ghibli worked on the game with Level 5, there's a reason it looks like a Ghibli film. My special edition comes in Monday. Really looking forward to it.

And it really isn't similar to a Tales game, IMO.

Regarding xenoblade, i just didnt get hooked in and found myself kinda bored, so I didn't continue past the first couple of hours. Does it take some time to get good? If so I'm willing to give it another shot one day.

This is one of the few games that makes me wish I had a PS3.

I think that there stopped being a reason to not have all consoles. More than enough good exclusives to justify each purchase.

It's like Pokemon combined with an early final fantasy game. Very impressed with it so far.
