until you get down to the comments lol.

Commenters on online articles have to be the retards of the internet world. Every time I read comments on any online article, it pisses me off.

probably need to stop reading them.

Paul Lukas from Uni Watch isn't particially fond of the logo/colors

A day later, the two major thoughts that I expressed in that piece have hardened and solidified: I really like the team name (I know some of you probably think pelicans are insufficiently intimidating or some such, in which case I heartily recommend that you read this piece) and I really dislike the logo. The color scheme is the very definition of uninspired, and the overall approach feels very minor league. Given how cool-looking pelicans are, I’m really disappointed by the results here.

Actually, if you give the comments time to load, most are positive regarding the logo once you get past the first group of comments, but I know what you mean by those online commentologists, they're an angry group in general

Most just care about charlotte getting the hornets name back. They can have it, but it wont make their team better.

Still, the logo's swaggability is excellent. I'd be proud to wear it as a player, a fan, or just in general. Once some merchandise becomes available for purchase, fans should jump at the opportunity to rock this logo whether they're Pelicans fans or not.
