Going to chimes tonight. Any suggestions for a good beer or beers?

I like Franziskaner Dunkel. a little darker than say a wheat beer and will (if you're not familiar already) give you an easy introduction to the darker more complex beers.

Who cares about what kind of beer as long as you get their onion rings.

They were big glasses too, more like 20 oz than a pint. Haven't had brown in awhile, been enjoying the blonde though.

Got a growler of Mechahopzilla there last week. Also went through a couple different stouts. St Arnolds Winter and ICS were two of them.

In my formative years, that was the beer that convinced me I could like something that wasn't a standard domestic or Abita. Got me to start branching out. It's still a favorite of mine.

Yea most imperials I've seen are 22 but I believe chimes are 19.8. Still not bad considering you'll pay about the same there as you usually would for a regular 16oz pint elsewhere.

And they have mechahopzilla as of 8 hrs ago!

It is a wheat beer and wheats are usually light in color. Just stick with Bud Light for now.
