What animals can you hunt and sell the meat from?

I've seen coons for sale on the side of the road but you can't sell deer meat or game fish. What's the rules on this?

I believe it is illegal to sell coons and any other game animal.

I thought it was any species not considered a game species and not otherwise protected (like robins)

Give the meat away, but you got to pay for this pencil here.

apparently, because I see buffalo, gar, and Choupic advertised on signs pretty often.
Unless the fish markets in Houma and Schriever are outlawing.

I've heard of people hitting up the democratic parts of town with a truck bed full of coons and doing pretty good (financially). Doubt they were filing a W2 on their morning earning's though.

Some fish are just game fish others you can get a commercial license to fish... You can't buy bass in the store...

Is it classified as a game species or a "nuisance" now? Like nutria?

shite I'm knocking down 3 coons a night under my feeder out behind the house! If anyone want to buy those nasty frickers.....I'm sure my garbage man would appreciate not having to open the lid of my raccon body filled trashcan twice a week!
