I like to have at least five for every magazine fed weapon. I normally use the same one for target shooting/ hunting and keep the others in reserve.

good call. may as well leave the others as fresh as possible. i got my remaining 4 still in their plastic wrapper and plan on keeping them that way unless SHTF and i need them. for now they have a moisture/dirt barrier, which is fine by me.

yep i didn't unwrap the last several i bought. I even left the last three i bought for my MAC covered in cosmoline.

I like to have 5 mags for each pistol. As far as ar...10 each..in 20 and 30 rd. Much less cumbersome shooting from a prone position with the 20 rd mags in.
