Enjoy - mine was really good.

This looks almost like the Cooks Illustrated version I did last year. They put a Serrano pepper for some heat but basically the same. It was spectacular!!! My kids always ask for it still.

Not really that difficult. Just some prep work ahead of time. After that it goes pretty quickly.

I totally hear you about cooking/drinking at home is way better than going out to eat. Relaxing, much better wine, and no DUI.

Rouse's carries Tikka Masala saucers now. You just have to broil your chicken and throw it in the sauce. They also have the seasonings packs that you can just add to tomato sauce and of course with each you add cream.

tend to agree ... but Stonewall Kithen makes some badass sauces. the coconut curry marinade one is bomb. tons of sodium though so I don't use it all that often.

where do they sell that one?

I've tried a ton of those premade thai and indian sauces and they have all sucked. The only premade sauce I ever had that was good was sold in the refrigerated section at Woolworth's in Sydney, Australia
