An overweight JR is still better than 95% of college QBs.

Jamarcus Russell at 305 pounds as he is right now.
Or Jordan Jefferson in his prime?

Well, Fat JaMarcus can still throw the ball downfield with accuracy, whereas no version of JJ could ever do so.

I'll take the qb with the most all time wins at LSU. Jefferswag over the drank king.

JJ's prime was one game against GA Tech.

I'll go with Russell. He'd be tough to bring down.

Jared Lorenzon in his prime was better than JJ in his prime IMO

Actually only #5 QB Wins/Career, but.....

From 2012 Media Guide
JJ's other LSU all time records:

#4 Total O/Season
#4 Total O/Career
#8 Total Yds/Season
#5 Total Yds/Career
#1 QB Rush yds/Season
#1 QB Rush yds/Career
#1 QB Rush TD/Season
#5 QB Rush TD/Career
#8 QB TD Passes/Season
#5 QB TD Passes/Career
#9 Comp/Season
#6 Comp/Career
#9 Comp%/Season
#6 Comp%/Career
#8 QB-WR Combo, JJ + Lafell

Mostly accomplished from a run oriented offense.

I'll duck now and leave you guys with a........

Do I want a QB who was a terrible passer who didn't make an NFL roster, or a former NFL QB who is still young and has one of the strongest arms on the planet but is fat?

Easy choice. JR can throw it and would be tough to bring down.

Jefferson haters are so full of shite! His time here he did manage to do a lot even as a true freshman. At least he won the chik filet bowl. Now can we say the same for Mett?! And if anyone thinks JL was a better QB than JJ is down right ignorant. Last year we would have not even been in the NCG if it wasn't for JJ
