I wonder if Lofton will reach out to some of his former teammates and tell them now that Payton is back, we run the NFC South again.

Moore is the only one that would seem to be a fit for need and cost. We would have to see Harper cut first before that happening. My guess is that Harper will have his deal reworked before that happens.
Moore has some skills but if you haven't followed his career would fit the classic definition of injury plagued. Even with this good season he still missed 4 games.

I don't hate Harper as much as most on here. But he is a little older and expensive. Moore is a guy you can sign to hold down that spot for the next 5-6 years at a similar if not cheaper price. Not to mention you steal him from a division rival. He's not a big hitter like Harper, but he has better ball skills IMO. (A more well rounded safety if you will)

It's a possibility. However, I think they'd draft a safety. Elam or Vaccarro may be gone, but Jefferson, Ried and Williams would be available at their pick.

We allegedly had no cap space last year and still signed a ton of new people and Brees.
We'll do some restructuring and smart cuts to get us in a comfortable spot.
