Half-court offense still terrible SOS, no other way to say it, but the defense was so active and energetic that it willed the game for us.

Had a couple of moments against the zone where we had some good inside passing, but they were few and far between.

It really is bad. I don't know what the deal is. The biggest improvement in hte offense to me was JOB's passing out of the post. He was able to hit open men all night when the double team came. Just wait for those shots to fall. JOB could really have a solid assist line if he keeps learning.

Love your summary per the usual SoS. I'm having an issue with your ratings formula though for not giving enough love to Stringer. He was very much playing a support and facilitator role against A&M and I don't think we win the game without him, but seeing him in red every week seems slightly off for one of our key guys who limits mistakes and plays excellent D. Just my two cents. I'd love to hear your take.

Analysis of any kind is very difficult. No one measure can tell you everything. I myself am a big Stringer fan, but there isn't a stat that he does really well in. He is a solid player and I like him in the game because he is dangerous, but he doesn't get rebounds, his steal numbers are just okay, he doesn't get blocks, and his scoring is sporadic.

I think people know Stringer is a great role player who can spark the offense and uses quickness on defense to defend his guy, but he doesn't fill the stat sheets.

Not to mention most of the team is in red right now because the colors are based on performances of all games. top 20% is bright green, bottom 20% is bright red and then the middle goes from red to green. Because we had so many good games early on, the games now are coming out red.

I still like Stringer and what he brings to the game, but he isn't gonna be a consistently high SoS rated player. And that's okay.

He's beginning to immediately look to the backside free throw line extended area. Wonder why it took this long. That's an automatic good look from 3 for stringer or hickey any time we get the ball into the high post
