There sure seems to be a lot of hate, or at least ambivalence, on this board towards Gregg Williams. I choose to remember him as our Super Bowl winning Defensive Coordinator.
Regarding the bounty scandal, I think he fricked up but was made a scapegoat my the NFL. Unfortunately for him, he did not have the NFLPA to help him out and he was put at the mercy of the league. Bad situation for him and he likely would like to take some things back. With all that said, I will always look at him as our Super Bowl defensive coordinator and one of the biggest reasons we won the Super Bowl and had that magical ride.
