Probably won't get any match involving the US

That won't bother me if it means we get a WCQ.

I can't make it on a Tuesday. I wish I could. The last Gold Cup, Houston got the quarterfinal I think. I went to that game against Panama; that was in the Texans' stadium though. If the USA plays a game at BBVA, I'm so in.

Would it be safe to assume that a WCQ would be held in BBVA instead of Reliant? I know you are talking about the Gold Cup, but it would seem to make sense after seeing the success in KC. If the US plays Jamaica in Reliant, I would assume maybe 15k would show up, and the stadium would look empty. If the game is in BBVA, it might limit the potential capacity, but the atmosphere would be awesome.

Hah, no worries.
And don't get me wrong, a gold cup match is cool...but a WCQ would have been great.

Reliant would probably get half full against a team like Jamaica, you're right. When I went to Reliant, it was probably 70% Mexican.

I will too. But no way in hell does the US play someone like Mexico at BBVA in the Gold Cup.

I figure BBVA is too small for a US v Mex match. Cowboys Stadium, Rose Bowl or GA Dome would be more fitting.

Never again going to a CONCACAF event against Mexico, especially anywhere near LA. No security and the Mex fans are the epitome of bottom barrel shite eating assholes.

I was actually surprised at how nice the Mexican fans were that night. Granted, they weren't playing us, but it appeared that most were pulling for the US over Panama. Also, I saw countless families with parents wearing Mexico gear and kids wearing US gear.

I was at about the 30 yardline in the bottom section with the "rich" Mexicans that didn't come on a bus.
