Not so much abortion as journalism... (Posted on 1/22/13 at 4:58 pm)
I just checked out the weather report on Shreveport's KTBS website. Noticed a link to their lead story on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Keep in mind that I don't care about abortion. It's a critique of journalism.
Found this quote:
quote: This year, Republican Governor Rick Perry wants to pass a so-called 'fetal pain bill', a measure that relies on controversial claims that a fetus can feel pain after 20 weeks of gestation.
1. Why the use of the term 'so-called'. It's the name of the bill. No one up in here has referred to me as "So-called Zach."
2. Why is it controversial that a fetus can feel pain after 20 weeks of gestation? That's been proven through sonograms of abortions.

quote: not on subject.....did not realize Bob Griffin was still working.
Yep. And I listen to his morning radio show on weekends just to hear him go totally senile.
Example:
"A woman called her friend to help her with a cross word puzzle. The friend came over and said 'where is the box that shows the picture? She took out a box of Frosted Flakes.'
The joke was supposed to be about a Jig Saw Puzzle.

Yeah, he worked for Ch. 12 for a long time. He could never pronounce any names correctly. He had 12 different attempts at Martina Navratilova during her tennis career and never got it right.
