Probably due to them changing the actress so many times.

Welcome to the thread.

It's a very good show. It's unlike anything else on TV and I love the way they talk which is also unlike any other program on TV.

I'm praying they do a Julius Caesar or Crassus spin off. I would watch that for sure. Those are worthy adversaries.

Word. She's very rough and tumble and seems like she has a lot of testosterone in her and I chuckled at how she stopped the brunette from getting to Gannicus by grabbing her and keeping her at arms length. She don't like any other women getting at her man.

By the way, I just took the liberty of resizing your avi and sig and making them transparent. Enjoy.

This.

Seems like she just wants to kill as many romans as possible and call it a life.

Perfect example of having no idea how to play the long game to win the war.

Ahh, good call. Caesar could work for sure if they write him well this season and the actor does a great job (which he is so far).

That's why that arse blew me away. I always thought she was a cutie, but then boom. Now she's a hottie!

I don't think junior is going to be so smart to Ceasar when he gets back.

They are borrowing from Sertorious. Sertorious disguised himself as a barbarian and lived among the Cimbri for a year after the battle of Aurusio. Then came back and told Marius everything he learned. Its in Plutarch's account.

Does anyone get thee idea Caesar could hold his own in a real fight against Gannicus?

I definitely think they foreshadowed to that, but 1 on 1, it shouldn't be. Gannicus is a champion and as tough as Caesar may be, he's not a gladiator.

So I just caught up on the series and all I can say is "HOLY frickIN' shite!!" This show is awesome to the fullest extent of the word. Sex and bloody violence

Anyway, on to the latest episode, anybody else get the feeling that this "division" within the army is a ploy to let Caesar think his plan has worked? I remember in one episode this season Spartacus said, "Come. Let us go make a plan. One that even Marcus Crassius would not expect."

No, in history Crixus splits off with an army of his own from Spartacus and gets crushed.

Highly doubtful and improbable.

Good to hear that you like this show and caught up on it.

Did you watch it in the following order?

Gods of the Arena
Blood and Sand
Vengeance
And the War of the Damned

???

This will likely happen. I've read somewhere that Crixus will likely be the first of Spartacus's generals to die.

I think next time I watch all the episodes again, I may watch them in chronological order.

Crixus girl is becoming the annoying female character of this series.

I was about to be pissed if she killed off Gannicus.

That roman punishment scene was brutal.

Glad Gannicus wasn't killed in this episode. Naevia sucks.

yeah navia is a crazy bitch. I think caesar and crassus are one of the best villains in tv history. I love how crassus is smart and that he is spartacus equal. if sparactus was smart( the real one too) hed just run with the army back to thracia or africa.

It's just a moral thing. Spartacus doesn't want to become the Romans and by killing all the innocent ones, they basically are becoming them.

This season has been great.
