Looking for a newer truck. I own a 250 now but want a 2010 or newer hd truck. I am a Ford man to the core but like the denali. It will be a 4x4 and diesel.
What does the OB say????

I have a 2500 diesel one step down from denali. Leather. Back up cam. The works. Love the engine. Love the truck.
But my dads cabelas edition diesel is hands down much nicer than mine.
If ford fixed their engine issues. You buy the ford for quality body and interior

If your on the road pulling daily and really use the diesel. Get the Duramax. But chevy interiors suck.

PowerStroke engines over the past few years have a delightful habit of self-destructing. I don't know if that has been fixed in the newer trucks.

6.4 and 6.7 are fine. The problems that you are referring to are over 5 years old.

That was the 6.0. Which is no longer in production. The 6.7 is a bad mofo.

After the indestructible 7.3. Ford completely went down the shitter with 6.6 and 6.0. They burnt more engines up than they care to admit. Same problem in every truck. Poor design. After 100k miles get ready to drop 6k in it to fix it.
Basically all the emissions crap ford had to guinea pig destroyed the engine

The newer Denali HD's get really good reviews...actually beat the f350 in a pickuptrucks.com review. But you can't go wrong with either IMO.

FWIW, the 2013/14 Ram 3500's will be able to tow 30,000...if you really need that much capability lol.
