Anyone want to give me a count of how many times we get:

-not nearly enough law enforcement

-darkness

-searching the halls of some massive structure without a flashlight

It's the same script week to week. A school, a basement, a warehouse, an army base

It's comical.....and how many times has Joe been stabbed?

Some more great moments tonight. Running notes throughout show. Here we go:

- They should seriously consider a theme song to open the show with to remind us of who Joe is.

Here's the story
Of a man named Carroll
Who got sentenced for killing 14 girls...

- Anyone notice how conveniently close to the computer that box of Kleenex was for Joe as he was watching the sex tape and his wound started bleeding? Hmmmm

- Who wants to wager on Emma being pregnant with Joe's baby?

- How did Hardy know something was weird with those property maps? They were just property maps. Spidey Sense?

- The cruise director. Hanged. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. At least he had a line this episode and was not just relegated to remote control guard duty (a job he was clearly not good at anyway)

- Road blocks set up paying special attention to those cars with more than 4 people in them. How about distributing photos that you should have of all these people and looking for them?

- Why is this ruthless serial killer keeping this couple alive?

- PICTURES!!!! HOLY shite!!!!

- So Joe can knock a guy down at the beginning of the episode while dragging Claire into the house but now his wound wont let him screw a corkscrew into a wine bottle?

- Claire knocks him silly with the bottle. Knife is on the ground and she............goes back for the fork to stab into his wound?

- Ok now she has the knife, time for Joe to die. Nope. She cuts the ropes off the couple. Now she goes to Joe and.......She kicked him. Kicked him in the stomach and ran. I give up.

- Weston on figuring out the clue: "Here? At the evacuation center? Is that possible?" It's like he hasnt seen this show.

- Crowd control is clearly not the FBI's strong suit

- Did Joe just lock Claire inside the boat from the outside? Is that possible?

- ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING

- So part of their plan was to capture female FBI cult master lady. So how did they know she would be isolated? How did they get her out of the building, conscious, with SWAT and FBI everywhere? That can't be easy, can it?

Loved how the writers strained their brains to call the Black & White married couple, "The Grays"

When the FBI was told early in the show to stay in constant communication all I could think was "watch your mics".

At least they did something Poeish when they buried FBI chick alive.

Also had a big window next to the door. No way she could open that window or find something in the fully furnished looking boat to break the window or glass door.

Didn't catch that. They must have just finished watching that Chappelle episode with the Ni**ar family

Aside from the terrible writing, this show is missing the boat big time in one regard....

They havent succeeded in making you care about a single fricking character.

I'm sure the director imagined that final scene would be all emotional....cut to "The Following" and just hearing her tears.

I gave zero fricks.

Yes one week after I suggested that exact thing. And they did the Red Death thing. All in one episode

For the Red Death thing it would have much cooler if they had released a biological agent causing everyone to actually die from plague-like symptoms.

Exactly. Reminds of a short lived show with crappy writing that I watched "Flash Forward".

Combined with mine, we have zero. Also because I know they will save her next week so who gives a shite as well

Agreed. Which brings me back to my earlier statement that we could all write this show better

I'm holding out hope that she is the one in the Poe mask we saw in the preview and that Ryan shoots and kills her.

Nah, not without looking that up. When they mentioned her name I wondered "Who the hell is that?".. Oh... oh well. One more week.

good call

that was the first thing I noticed. So, you built a casket, dug a hole out behind the VFW hall, and staged this whole thing? Joe's crystal ball is firing on all cylinders

have you seen this show before? Sending barely-armed law enforcement agents into situations with no communication, no strategy, no backup is standard operating procedure. This is the NEW FBI - Quantico is shut down. Now, all new agents only require an Xbox and a copy of Resident Evil for training

Thought the same. That stood out the most other than Clair nit slicing Joe's throat when she had the chance. I am sure the boat engine is plenty loud. How can she not just break the window and escape?

Last night's show may have been one of favorite episodes.

-The FBI really knows how to lock down a building. The real FBI just locked down a major metro area for a full day. The FBI on The Following can't lock down a tool shed with one door.

-Joe Carroll has been stabbed, hitten over the head, and kicked in his wound. This renders him helpless when it comes to opening a bottle of wine. Holding 3 people hostage with a steak knife? No problem.

-The guy in charge of television viewing at the cult house got a raw deal. He didn't get to leave the house and kill people. He was forced to stay in that boring arse house. I think he hung himself out of sheer boredom.

-The cult plans ahead. They knew the FBI lady would be isolated and that they could easily abduct her. Good thing they had that casket ready for her.

-I am with everyone else on the character's names. I know Ryan Hardy, Joe who killed 14 women, Emma the homely girl that gets hotter by default as each female cult member gets killed, Claire that I sometimes remember is Joe's wife, and Joey the annoying kid.

-I feel bad for FBI lady.
