Also, maybe it's just me; but wasn't Joe watching the Ryan sex tape a little too intently?

True. And remember, it was after he got blue balled from his wife.

I noticed the lotion and tissue near him as he watched.

Will have to watch tonight as I watched the game last night. Was it as amazingly bad as usual?

In a word, yes.

Again....FBI agents go into a deserted, suspected bad guy hideout where they can be ambushed very easily, with no backup whatsoever.(At least THIS time there were 3 of them, not 1 or 2, amybe they are ever so slowly learning? Yeah, right.)

Not to mention, absolutely no plan. Just, "Oh look I popped the lock, let's go in blind!"
Idiots.

I am rooting for the cult.

I didn't see that coming last night. I love how they protect the suspects. What was that sound? It was probably the people here to kill you or help you escape. Excuse me while I leave you alone in this room and go check it out.

It looks like Roderick is going to turn himself in. So I guess he will be left in an empty room for a cult member to off him.

It'll probably be a cult member prison guard that gets him after he's locked up in a federal resort prison once he makes his deal.

Got to watch it last night. Made some notes on my phone while watching. Here goes:

- "Joe Cole was convicted of the murder of 14 women in..." AHHHHHHHH That's who that guy is. Thanks for the recap. Again.

- Are we supposed to care about any of the love story angles on this show? Hardy and Joe's wife. Joe and Emma. Emma and Jacob. I know I dont

- My favorite scene last night: Weston beats down a man suspected of being attached to a cultist militia group after he attacked Hardy from behind in a booby trapped house they are searching for evidence in and the female FBI agent acts shocked?!?!? Has she not been paying attention to what these people have been doing?

- I think the writers did hear my thoughts for once when Weston became the first character on the show to turn on a light switch before they began searching the basement. I was beginning to think that flashlights were the only source of light other than the sun. However as we learn the entire basement is not lit

- How big is this fricking basement under this seemingly small, old, shitty house? Enough room for several area and for people to sneak around others I guess

- Cell signal jammer. Why not. One would think they would be in constant radio contact throughout this entire mission and once that was gone backup would arrive.

- For a sheriff Roderick sure does have a lot of time to hang out at the compound

- Ryan Hardy backstory and......yep.....it's confirmed. He is Spiderman.

- How long were they in that basement? Pitch black when they came outside

- So let me get this right about Jacob's father: Jacob fled their vacation home because dad was going to call the cops once he knew he was there. So Jacob calls him. Wouldn't you think the dad would then hang up the phone and notify the police? Jacob used a normal cell phone so they could just figure out which tower was used for the call and track him down. Maybe he had an app to block that though.

- WOW. Hardy really is Spiderman. Getting revenge on his father's killer. Let's not think about how a 17 year old with no police training or anything was able to hunt down and kill a heroin addict wanted for murder before the cops could find him. Let's just go with it.

- Hey Roderick is sheriffing. Look at that.

Great post as always. Agree with all of it. But the 2 above were the ones that really kill me. Its just lazy writing.

I thought the same thing. I kept waiting for Hardy to go back home to Aunt May. I am sure we will have a flash back to Hardy's dad telling him "with great power comes great responsibility".

My favorite thing in this episode was the old shitty house with a bullet proof interrogation chamber. I think I saw Bob Vila install one of those on "This Old House".

Roderick also has to be the youngest sheriff in history.

My favorite scenes are when they go to investigate a house, building, etc - they always send Ryan in first - you know, the guy who isn't an FBI agent anymore.

Didn't Weston see Roderick? Roderick on the scene, Weston conveniently in the ambulance to be taken to the hospital for his non-existent injuries. Or did Weston want to avoid coming face to face with Roderick in front of the FBI because he is an undercover cult member after all?

Hey first post this week. We got off to a slower start the first 30 minutes (read: not as much terrible writing) but for the last 30 the writers took a dump on the script and set it on fire. Here we go:

- Annnnnnnd another guy escapes a building full of FBI. Strong start here

- Joe must have lifted a ton of weights in prison. Strangling a pretty fit guy with your bare hands. I hate how people do that in movies and TV. Anywho

- We all just need to keep calm

- Black FBI guy has a hell of an idea: use actual police work to locate Joey rather than immediately cutting a deal. This writer must have been immediately fired because this is where we get rolling

- Cult members parked outside of FBI HQ. Not even that far away. Right outside. This place would be on lockdown

- Everyone just needs to calm down

- Hey a plan by the FBI that worked. Well sort of. Because...

- WHERE THE frick IS EVERYONE ELSE? Are they holding back two states over? Are they so far away they dont hear the gunshots?

- Hey, Weston, when a known serial killer that tried to kill you not too long ago has his gun drawn on your partner and a small boy, your first reaction should be shoot to kill. Not "Drop the weapon" and then let him point the gun at you as well. Shoot him, dude. Just shoot.

- Keep calm and cult on

- Why did the serial killers who were shooting into the house then decide to try hand to hand combat once inside the house? Sneak behind and shoot. Not punch.

- Where was Weston during the entire standoff with Jacob where multiple shots were fired over a period of a couple of minutes? frick.

- Has nobody taken a basic anatomy class? Stab for the heart. Or lungs. Or if you miss the first time, pull the knife out and reuse it. It's not a one time use disposable. Hit a lung. Stomach. Liver. SOMETHING.
