Yes, so that makes 2 guys in the cult that can encrypt their own messages and decode the FBI's and 0 people working for any law enforcement agency that can do the same

And all they got out of it was an approximate count of the cult

So they keep saying "X New Episodes Left", not "this season", but just "left". Is this a one season show? I think that'd be great if it was, and with someone like Bacon as the lead I can see that being the original plan.

Roderick is my favorite character on the show. Dude's a blast. I see Emma killing him in the future though because she's too annoying not to frick up Joe's entire plan, whatever the frick his plan is.

i still say that i enjoy the show so i'll preface with that...

but i tell my wife, at least with LOST you can tie together any questions with "hey it's magic".

but i guess the show wouldn't be sustainable with someone in power who said stuff like " let's send 24 guys in instead of two" or "hey warden, you're just a warden, you can't in like 6 hours time transfer a mass murdering one time escapee b/c of some broken fingers"

And should we discuss that while the FBI is apparently camped out outside of Jacob's house, both of his parents are allowed to leave to go to what I assume is their vacation home. Guess the FBI didnt find it pertinent to a) check to see if they owned other properties that he might use or b) you know, follow them or something.

Brilliant.

And to those talking about Emma thinking she's so hot, that's a real thing.
In refineries, the bar is set so low, and there's so many hardlegs, that the term "Refinery Hot" was coined.

Fantastic stuff. Apparently satellite phones are cryptonite to the FBI. Army cult guy must have taught someone everything he knew before being offed. And what was the explanation for how they knew where she was? They determined where one single phone call was placed? Really? Was that the only phone call made that day?

And should we discuss that while the FBI is apparently camped out outside of Jacob's house, both of his parents are allowed to leave to go to what I assume is their vacation home. Guess the FBI didnt find it pertinent to a) check to see if they owned other properties that he might use or b) you know, follow them or something.

The opening scene shoutout of sorts to a bitching fanbase was glorious.
"How did Joe Cole escpape in a helicopter in broad daylight?"
"They had a really good plan, sir."
Great explanation.

At least they finally acknowledged checking the visitor logs 6 weeks too late. And Joe can encrypt his internet usage from inside the prison apparently. WIN

And who else loved the nailgun on a construction site that could just fire without the safety being depressed? But let's back up - you have a small crowd in a contained area that can be easily managed and you are trying to find a potential victim and a serial killer in the crowd. What do you do?
A) Just bumblefrick your way through the crowd and noise and hope that you stumble upon them so Kevin Bacon can end up one on one with a killer again?
B) Set up a perimeter, shut down the party and search every single person on site?

Could not have said it any better myself. Just stunning how many glaring contradictions exists in a single show. Amazing really.

He seems like some frat guy that had nothing better to do and decided to help start a serial killer cult. I liked it when Joe told he was sorry about his woman getting killed and he was like IDGAF.

I want to quit watching, but I can't give up now. I have to see what kind of shite they come up with next week.

I guess everyone quit watching

- Ok so we established that these guys can find anyone and everyone last week. Now we get to see first hand the most idiotic witness protection in the history of witness protection. Way to send out 2 of your 3 men to go walk around the hotel to make sure everything is fine. They didnt even know what they were looking for

- Ryan saves the day. YAY. So you have your woman and need to get her somewhere safe, so where do you go? The large FBI building filled with agents that you work at? Nah. Let's go to your buddy's house. Oh who also happens to be in witness protection but you know where he is too. And I love how everyone in witness protection stays within a convenient driving distance of where they were originally from

- So now you're at the "safe house" and plan on staying there........forever? Then you find out that they planted a tracking device on Claire's fine arse and know where you are. So now do you call for shitloads of backup knowing that the bad guys are on their way or do you grab a few guns and one box of ammo and say frick it we are doing this Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid style? Of course it's option B

- Excellent "state of the art" security system at that house by the way

- And of course Ryan's ex is in the cult. Why the frick not? And I love how they presented that as some huge twist like we havent seen it before. And it was a character that had a total of about 30 seconds of screen time before that.

Good summary. My favorite part was when the Marshal stayed behind and let them out the back. Then, he just stood in front of the door and got shot about 20 times.

At least Bates Motel has my interest peaked. Only problem is it comes on after the following, so I still have nothing to replace the following with. I guess I will keep watching :/
