I say Gonzalez and it's not close.

It's not. Gonzalez is the best TE ever. Ray Lewis might be a top 5 middle linebacker but certainly not the best ever.

Easily gonzo. He's the best te ever and Lewis is top 10 at his position

Tough one. I'll go with Lewis because of what he's meant to the franchise.

So are you factoring in motivational speaking?

Tough call. I think it depends on what you value more. A TE or a LB. I honestly don't know. I agree TG is the best TE to play the game but I think Ray Lewis has had a bigger impact on the games he's played in.

If this was about being the most annoying the Lewis wins in a landslide.

i can't believe gonzo only had 3, 10 TD seasons. that's kind of shocking to me

One guy is regarded as the greatest ever at his position.

The other isn't.

I usually do not say this, but I totally disagree with you.

Gonzo is unequivocally the greatest TE of all-time. Lewis is an incredible linebacker and player, but is he the best ever at his position? Maybe.

You should probably reread the OP.

The question was also career-wise. Not hard to understand.

16 years of Gonzo > 3 (oft-injured) years of Gronk.

The question was about all time which factors in the peaks and troughs. If it was just peaks, Shannon sharpe was pretty good for a couple of years.

Talking about careers and I still disagree. Gonzalez today would put up pretty similar numbers as Gronk in that offense.

Gonzales put up some beastly numbers before the rules made it much easier on offenses AND he did so without a HOF QB.
