There are def dedicated .22lr uppers like CMMG, but I didnt think the 15-22 worked that way. I could be wrong, but dont think I am.

Could have sworn you told me that I could slap a 22 or 300 upper on my lower. Giving me essentially 3 guns for cheaper than buying/building 3 individual guns.

They got a big shipment in today apparently, called them around 2 just curious and thats when I found out, they were already selling out of the last of it.

A 15-22 is its own weapon, its not meant to be switched around.
You can get a dedicated .22 upper, like the ones CMMG or Chippa(sp?) make, and attach those to your lower.

I've only barely seen or read something about this but I believe the 15-22 lowers are shaped differently and are wider than AR lowers. I think, maybe possibly, there's a difference in the take-down pins also.

You can get a S&W 15-22 for $450 shipped, while some dedicated uppers cost $400. I would go with a 15-22 and work on a .300 BLK upper or a 5.45 upper
